Q: How do I register?
A: Simply click on the Register
button and fill in the information requested of you.
Q: Is it safe to release my
information?
A: Your information is solely
used to open an account. We do not share this information with a third party.
Q: What if I just want to see
the Price List?
A: You can register as Rank
1, which allows you only to browse, but not to order.
Q: What is Rank 1 and Rank
2?
A: There are two ranks within
this page: Rank 1 and Rank 2.
Rank 1: Only to review the Price List and to browse the online ordering system.
At this point, you do not have to open an account.
Rank 2: You must register and fill out an application form, (which is provided through
the link under ‘FORMS,’) and fax the request to open an online ordering account.
This allows your company to browse and order lenses through the program.
Q: What if I want to cancel
an order after placing it?
A: Online ordering is made
to ease and speed up the ordering process. All the entry errors are the sole responsibility
of the client, although you can inform us with a phone call and we will try our
best to meet your request.
Q: Is there a warranty on unused
stock lenses?
A: A credit will apply for
unused stock lenses in the original packaging only within thirty days of the original
invoice. A 20% restocking fee will apply to the returned goods.
Q: Does the warranty cover
non-adaptive Progressive Lenses?
A: The non-adaptive warranty
only applies to selective Progressive Lenses. The returned lens can be substituted
with a different design or a credit will be applied to your account with the return
of the lens along with the original invoice within sixty days of the purchase. A
20% service charge applies to the new order.
Q: What is your policy on doctor’s
change?
A: The goal of online ordering
is to provide you with the best possible price for your purchase. There will be
a 20% discount on doctor’s change of prescription upon return of the lens with the
original invoice number.
Q: What is your policy on optician’s
error?
A: The goal of online ordering
is to provide you with the best possible price for your purchase. There will be
a 20% discount on optician’s error upon return of the lens with the original invoice
number.
Q: Is there any shipping charge
for our order?
A: A processing fee of $1.50
applies to every single order. Every order must be a minimum of $25.00, otherwise
a shipping charge of $5.75 will be added to the order.
Q: What happens if I receive
a wrong or damaged lens?
A: Our quality control division
tries their best to ensure that every single order is correct, damage-free and within
Optical Guidelines. However, if there are any problems with the order, we will gladly
accept the return and credit your account after inspection of the returned lens.
Q: What if the quoted online
price is different from the one on the invoice?
A: Due to numerous entries,
variety of frames, base curves and specialty lenses, SV Optical reserves the right
to change the price according to the order. If there is a discrepancy in the web
total price and the price stated on the invoice, a customer service representative
will notify your office before processing the order.
